Colombo, Sri Lanka · Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm (IST)
Sri Lanka, arranged by people who live here
Tea-country mornings, quiet beaches, and the long way round. We plan private trips across Sri Lanka and stay with you from the first email to the last transfer.
Typical trips run 7–14 days, from $150 per person per day.
Itineraries
Three of the shapes we build most often. Every one gets rebuilt around your dates, your pace, and how much driving you’re willing to do.
Classic
Colombo, the Cultural Triangle, the hill country and the south coast in one unhurried loop.
Walking
The Kandy–Ella train, tea estate walks, and three days of cool mornings in the hills.
Beach
Galle, Mirissa and Tangalle — three bases, short drives, and almost nothing scheduled.
Why travel with us
We are not a booking platform. We are a team of planners and guides in Colombo who take a limited number of trips each month, so the person who builds your itinerary is the person you can call while you’re here.
More about us“We asked for ‘not too much driving’. What we got was three days in Ella we hadn’t thought to ask for.”
We book family-run hotels and pay guides directly, not through an agency chain. The person driving you owns the car.
If a place isn’t right for you, we say so — even when it’s the one everyone asks for. A shorter trip done well beats a full one done badly.
Fewer stops, longer stays. The itinerary is a plan, not a checklist, and there is always room for the thing you didn’t know about.
No elephant rides, small groups, and no sending people where the wildlife doesn’t want them. We’d rather lose the booking.
Where we go
Sri Lanka is small enough to cross in a day and varied enough to spend a month. These are the regions we know best — and the right months to see each one.
How it works
No forms that go nowhere. A planner reads what you send, replies personally, and keeps the same thread through to the end.
Dates, budget, who’s coming, and the things you’d rather skip. A phone call is often quicker than email.
An outline with hotels, driving times, and a price that includes everything we’ve listed.
Two or three rounds of changes, usually. Then we hold the rooms and send the final documents.
In their words
“We asked for ‘not too much driving’. What we got was three days in Ella we hadn’t thought to ask for, and a driver who knew which side of the train to sit on.”
